Unfortunately that wont work. The leg is segmented(thigh is seperated object from the shin, etc) And when 3dsmax exports to 3ds, the model just becomes one whole object. And if i import the the 3ds model legs the heiarchy is broken and messed up, something qdata REALLY hates and thrashes the model.

What im looking for is a solution in 3dsmax itself.

: Okay....
: import each of your leg-frames ito Rhino3d, highlight them,
: and then hit the 'mirror' button
: delete the original, move the mirror to the original's position in the frame, and then save it as a .3ds file
