: seems as though none of the modeling tools out there are saving the directory structure right. Even NST is not doing me right. I understand that QDATA can specify absolutely and EXACT path to the skin, but QDATA looks as though it's a nightmare to learn (and I don't have the patience right now). Isn't there a way to hex edit the model to point to the right path for the skin? I tried it a few times, but each time I end up causing errors in the model. Are there any programs I'm missing that can set paths to skins absolutely?

Qdata is pretty easy to learn. Im not going to go into how to use it, but there isnt much too it. Its a lot easyer to do than hex editing the md2 you make it in some other md2 program. trust me..
