I followed the tutorial to make the Quake model But when I got to the part of animatrion my model ended up screwed up...HELP

I followed the instructions on the Tutorial to make the Models for Quake... I just got Max and I'm
still learning...The model ended up kinda cool but when I made the Byped (i followed the
instructions) And made the footsteps .. the model turned in to a piece of crap and all i could see
was the byped moving and a bunch of crap around... Can anyone help me here?
