*.ASC won't import???

Hiya. I was incredibly excited when I heard that Quake 2 modeller imported *.ASC files, so I went into True Space 2 and made me a cheap little model When I tried to import verts or frames into Q2 Modeller, I found out that I could click on the ASC file and click OK, but nothing would happen. It would just leave me with a blank screen. I am on a $0 budget, and am, well, quite ignorant, so if you have any info on how to convert True Space 2 ASC files to the Q2 Modeller format, please post it, or mail me. Thanx!
