The q2modeller problem sounds like you have not added
any mapping cordinates.

To fix it select all faces, open the skin editor and
select 'get possition from model'. That will pull
new mapping cordinates into the editor so you be able
to edit them to make up a skin.

This was the procedure for v.0.83, perhaps Marting has
added some new options you will encounter with v.0.9
i havnt checked yet, but it should be pritty much the
same i think.

V.0.83 also set the default skinsize to 320-200 i think
so that would account for the NST error if you tried
to load a skin image that was of any other dimentions.

: Ok, I have a weapon that was built in 3ds4, exported to max, exported to asc, then imported to q2 modeller and nst. I have made a .md2 out of it, full animation and everything. It consists of two objects, attached together. The problem is it won't skin right. I have q2Modeller, which paints the whole gun 1 color, and won't do anything when I load up my skin, and then I have nst which says the skin has incorrect dimenstions... when its something like 300x100... I just don't get it!
: Please help!
