I have been a user of 3ds.4 (the old type one) and then used strata vision (Mac).
I rather use a PC software so I am learning Max 3.0 and really like it.
The only thing I have not yet get right is when doing mapping jobs.
I need some tips on that. (I got used to do the mapping on strata and it is some how way esier).
