The biggest weapon of the DooM series returns for Quake II! It is BY FAR the most powerful weapon you will come across. When you press 'fire', it takes a few seconds to power up, then spits out a slow-moving ball of green energy. The ball will fire small laser shots at anything it can 'see', as shown in the picture. When it hits a wall or enemy, it explodes for a large amount of damage, plus anything that is visible to both the player and the ball will take an additional 500 damage. This makes it ideal for clearing out a room full of small-to medium enemies, but is not that great against the bosses due to its REALLY slow reload time.
